1.) What are your favorite parts about working at Gadget Software?
My favorite part of working at Gadget Software is being constantly exposed and introduced to varying markets and industries, while learning an incredible amount along the way. Gadget Software has introduced me to an entire world I never knew existed, and I’m grateful to now be a part of it.
2.) How would you describe the culture of Gadget Software?
Gadget Software is a collaborative and interactive culture. Our departments all work together towards one end goal. It’s incredible to see how committed and excited everyone is to be a part of this company. It amazes me at how creative everyone is as well.
3.) What are some of the biggest projects you’ve worked on with the Marketing team?
So far, I have personally worked on and launched new marketing campaigns for the social network pages we manage. I’m lucky enough to be working alongside my mentor, Lauren, who has given me responsibility in a lot of the work she is completing and makes sure I am understanding the importance of it.
4.) What is some advice you would give to someone trying to launch a career while still in college?
I would advise others to gain as much experience as you can. Intern, volunteer, mentor, shadow… do whatever you can to gain that experience. By taking initiative, you are growing and expanding your network. Make sure to connect with these people- you never know where it can lead you!
5.) What’s the last thing you read this year?
I just finished reading Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. I read it in one sitting and recommend it to everyone.
