1.) What is your favorite part about working at Gadget Software?
My favorite part about working at Gadget Software is definitely the environment. We have a collaborative work environment that allows all our team members to contribute and assist in the development of the products.
2.) How would you describe the culture of Gadget Software?
The culture is innovative, exciting and fun.
3.) What are some of the biggest projects you’ve worked on with the Product/Platform team?
We are always working on new designs from infrastructure to the application user experience. Most recently I worked on redesigning our application to allow users to access the content easily while providing a smooth and clean design.
4.) What is some advice you would give to someone trying to launch a career in Product/Platform?
Consider looking for an internship or position at a start up that allows team members working with product teams and engineering teams. Whenever possible try to take on new challenges that allow you to learn and grow while gaining product management experience and an understanding of the engineering process for software development.
5.) What’s the last thing you read this year?
The last book I read this year was Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
6.) What's a fun fact about you?
In college I studied Forensic Anthropology and Human Osteology. One of the most exciting experiences I had while completing my degree was attending a short course at the Forensic Anthropological Center also known as the Body Farm in Tennessee to study some of the techniques being developed studying human remains.
